Is LogLegends really free?▼
Yes! All core features including drive tracking, night hour detection, and PDF reports are completely free. Premium features like cloud sync are available as an optional upgrade.
Does it work in my state?▼
LogLegends defaults to North Carolina requirements (60 total hours, 10 night hours), but you can customize the hour goals in Settings to match any state's graduated licensing requirements.
Do I need to download anything?▼
No app store download is required. LogLegends is a Progressive Web App that runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen for quick access like a native app.
Is my GPS data private?▼
Absolutely. GPS data is only collected while you're actively tracking a drive. It's stored locally on your device by default. We never sell or share your location data. See our

Can my parent and I both see the driving log?▼
With Premium cloud sync, driving data syncs across devices so both parent and teen can view the same log from different phones. On the free tier, data stays on whichever device records the drive.
Will the DMV accept a LogLegends PDF report?▼
Our PDF reports include all the information typically required: dates, times, durations, and hour breakdowns. Requirements vary by DMV office, so check with your local office about accepted documentation formats.
