1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LogLegends ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
2. Description of Service
LogLegends is a driving practice hour tracking application for new and teen drivers. The App allows users to log supervised driving hours, track GPS routes, monitor day and night driving time, and generate PDF reports. The App is available as a free service with optional premium features.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You agree not to:
- Use the App while actively driving a vehicle (only passengers or supervising adults should operate the App during a drive)
- Falsify driving log data or misrepresent practice hours
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
5. Driving Safety Disclaimer
LogLegends is a logging tool, not a substitute for responsible driving instruction. The App does not provide driving lessons, evaluate driving skill, or certify driving competency. Users should always follow their state's graduated licensing laws and drive only under proper adult supervision as required by law.
Do not interact with the App while operating a motor vehicle. The supervising adult or a passenger should handle all App interactions during a drive.
6. GPS and Location Services
The App's GPS tracking feature requires access to your device's location services. You may disable GPS tracking at any time. GPS data is used solely for recording driving routes and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Free and Premium Services
LogLegends offers a free tier with core features and a Premium tier with additional features such as cloud sync. We reserve the right to modify which features are included in each tier. Premium subscriptions are billed as described at the time of purchase.
8. Data and Content
You retain ownership of the driving log data you create using the App. By using the cloud sync feature, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. You may delete your data at any time through the App's settings.
9. Accuracy of Data
While we strive to ensure the accuracy of driving hour calculations, GPS tracking, and night hour detection, we make no guarantees about the absolute precision of this data. GPS accuracy depends on your device and environmental conditions. You are responsible for verifying that your driving log is accurate before submitting it to any government agency.
10. Limitation of Liability
LogLegends is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to issues with driving log accuracy, data loss, or reliance on App data for licensing purposes.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@loglegends.org.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
